LG GD900 world’s first transparent design phone

LG introduce LG GD900 with transparent keypad at the Mobile World Congresss 2009 the GD900, the world’s first transparent design phone. The GD900 comes with a sliding, translucent keypad. The keypad will glow in the dark so you can find the transparent numbers more easily, but LG has not yet released additional specifications

LG doesn’t release technical information of the phone but we can expect a color display, and a camera and a front camera for video calls and support for HSDPA 7.2Mbps. The phone will come with a transparent headset.

The crystal, glass-like LG GD900 will be released in Q2 2009.

The LG GD900 features quad-band GSM (850/900/1800/1900MHz) support, as well as dual-band UMTS (900/2100MHz or 850/1900MHz) with HSDPA for high-speed connections.
