    Delta 1080p Hi-Def LED Projector

The DLP projectors LED displays and demonstrations, Germany's first full-time CEDIA and IFA's in HD. Resolution projector with 1080, LED colors and a large range is 20,000 units. Not the extension of the delta, metal halide lamp with a service that claims the lives of more powerful, PhlatLight is used.

Luminus and TI have been working together to increase brightness in LED-based DLP projectors by creating brighter and more efficient PhlatLight LEDs and through improvements in the DLP processing algorithms. These improvements are enabling multiple projection manufacturers, such as Delta Electronics and several others to introduce DLP home theater projectors beginning later in 2008. Further developments by TI and Luminus will lead to the introduction of lamp-free projectors for corporate and education markets in the future.

PhlatLight LED performance and reliability has been proven with hundreds of thousands of DLP TVs and ultra-portable projectors shipped over the last several years. This new brightness breakthrough, will allow manufacturers to create lamp free projectors delivering dramatically improved picture quality, superior reliability, convenience and environmental friendliness by eliminating the need for lamp replacement.

"These projectors can produce outstanding images with far superior contrast and deeper blacks than lamp-based projectors," said Christian Hoepfner, vice president of products, Luminus Devices. "PhlatLight LEDs give DLP projectors a pure RGB light source, producing vivid, accurate, stable color images that will not shift or fade over time."

Delta is a long-time industry leader in DLP projector development and manufacturing for a wide variety of applications. Delta's extensive DLP experience and close cooperation with TI and Luminus has kept them at the forefront of the latest advancements in projector development.

"Delta engineers' recognized very early the reliability, value and astounding performance of this new platform and knew immediately that this breakthrough technology is the way of the future for projector technology," said Kirk Chang, manager of technology development, Delta Electronics. "Delta is excited to rapidly expand the use of PhlatLight LEDs across our DLP product offering as a way to further grow our projector business."

Luminus has been manufacturing its patented PhlatLight LEDs for DLP TVs since 2006 and PhlatLight LEDs remain the only LEDs that are bright and efficient enough to replace arc lamps. PhlatLight LEDs are unique in that they are much larger than conventional LEDs and designed to operate reliably at significantly higher intensity. PhlatLight LEDs create pure, primary colors sequentially pulsed at high speeds to provide ultra-fast color refresh for stable, accurate colors and a smooth picture with superior motion quality.
