Bolt Web Browser for J2ME mobile phones is said to be the fastest browser.

* Like Opera Mini (the main J2ME competition), data is passed through a proxy for rendering and compression before being passed to the handset, speeding things up and saving battery life. It’s generally a good thing, though such practices tend to spook most security-minded folk. Pages are compressed at a rate of 23:1.
* RSS reader built in, with automatic feed detection
* “Split screen browsing” - 2/3 of the screen shows the full page, serving as a mini-map with a highlighting box, while the other 1/3 shows the magnified area.
* URL auto completion
* Phone numbers automatically parsed for Click-to-call
* User interface is currently English only, but the browser can render pages written in any Western-European language.

Hey thats great man! It supports AJAX...! Damn and even flash videos? great but something is bothering me...!?! if the phone doesn't support flv video then how will the browser play it in the phone??

Bolt uses bitstreamming technology, it converts the flv videos to the playable formats for the mobile phone on their own server and then streams it to the web browser...! Smart Technology! It is heard that it is faster then any other similar browser!

Although scrolling around the page is a little sluggish on my 8830 WE, the page load times are much faster than Opera Mini and the native browser. I really like the ability to save YouTube videos to the memory card.

I think you are mistaken, because I download and tested the Bolt Web Browser on my pc with Symantec Antivirus and it was virus free. Which antivirus are you using by the way? I think that the antivirus installed on your pc is giving fake alarms, so just disable it or try to install some other free antivirus like avg by searching it from google.
