Toshiba TG01 smartphone with 1GHz Snapdragon chip

Toshiba has announced a new smartphone TG01 with 1GHz Snapdragon chip. The TG01 is a touchscreen Windows Mobile phone with more display space, a higher resolution, faster processor and slimmer shell than any other smartphone, including Apple’s.



It will feature a 4.1-inch WVGA (800 x 480 pixel) touchscreen display, a microSD slot, and custom Tosh 3D GUI. This handset that is 9.9mm thick and runs Microsoft's Windows Mobile 6.1. You get built in GPS, Wi–Fi, HSDPA, a 1Ghz Qualcomm processor and a keypad.

TG01 gives you Flash support, letting you browse the web fully and watch vids. It is thinner than both the iPhone and the bulky T-Mobile G1. Shake the cell to answer a call and do the same to hang up.
