    Asus X50VL Laptop Temperaure 100* C

I have a laptop Asus X50VL with Ubuntu 8.10 and it reached a temp of 100 ° C? In fact, if I format or not, that is overheating of the laptop itself ... I am looking for a free solution to try to lose some ° c. Moreover reach saturation, not touching the bottom of the laptop or guarantee burns and of course it makes a noisy sound. I am not a beginner, but I have run out of ideas.

Have you tried removing dust from the laptop?

I found 4cm dust shaped wall between the radiator and vents ...
Since restarting, the fan is running normally, no noise, and it stays fresh for the moment ...
So I think "Pugsly" was correct.
    Thank you
    Problem solved.
