Yes surely you can use your E71 as Web Camera using the MAC OS. But you need to have a software known as Movino. Movino is a very nice and user friendly application for Mac. You can use your mobile phone camera as a webcam by installing this application. The best part is, it can be connected via bluetooth and you can take it anywhere you want. E71 goes great with this application as it is been tested.

For installation you can follow the steps below:

• Download a broadcasting application for your phone. Then install it on your phone.For example for Nokia S60 3rd Edition, Feature Pack 1 download movino_s60_v3.sisx
• Also download the GUI application and a QuickTime component for Mac OS X movino-osx-1.01.dmg.
• To install the main application, just drag it to your application folder.
• To install the QuickTime component(MovinoQT.component), drag it into the Library/QuickTime directory, either the system-wide directory or the user-specific directory.
• Installation is complete.
• Now Switch on bluetooth on your Mac/Mobile.
• Run the movino application on your Mac.
• Run the movino on your mobile phone and click options go to connect and choose bluetooth select your Mac

and thats it you're done.

Try connecting the phone with computer with USB data cable, start PC Suite and wait for few seconds till the computer shows "Nokia E71 Connected". If that didn't work then you might be needing the USB driver for E71. Try uninstalling the E71 drivers from your computer and reinstall them again, by plugging the device via USB. Use Nokia Cleaner for uninstalling the E71 drivers.
