December 25 is not a public holiday in Japan, some manufacturers have unveiled new products while a large part of the West and elsewhere had the lead with foie gras and chocolate. So the case of Japan, which HP has introduced its next PC all-in-one, the TouchSmart IQ521jp and IQ521jp. These are just simple changes for next spring to its previous TouchSmart.
The IQ821jp includes an Intel Core 2 Duo P8400 (2.26GHz), 4GB RAM, Intel GM45 Express, a 750GB hard drive, a GeForce 9600M GS, but also a player Blu-Ray and a TV tuner for Japanese digital (it includes the words "jp" in the name of the product). It will therefore need the screen of 25.5 inches in 1920 × 1200 and will be sold 220,000 yen, or 1700 €.
The board IQ521jp meanwhile a Core 2 Duo P8400, a 640GB hard drive, a DVD player and a screen 22 inches in 1680 × 1050 pixels for a price of 130 000 yen, slightly more than € 1000.
