Asus today announced two new models of laptops from G Series family Republic of Gamers (ROG) for players. Asus promises for these machines, in addition to the choice of components performing screens displaying a time of very rapid response. They are also supplied with a set of accessories dedicated to video games, including a backpack stamped Republic of Gamers, a mouse 1600 dpi and closed headphones with a microphone.
The Asus G50 revolves around a brilliant display of 16/10eme posting a 15.4-inch WSXGA + definition. It is based on an Intel Core 2 Duo P8600 running at 2.4 GHz, 4 GB of DDR2 memory at 800 MHz and a graphics card NVIDIA GeForce 9700M GT equipped with 512 MB of dedicated DDR3 memory. It also incorporates a hard drive operating at 5 400 rpm with a capacity of 320 GB, a DVD recorder, a webcam 2 million pixels, N WiFi and Bluetooth.
Equipped for its slab of a 17-inch WUXGA display a definition, the G71 wins over the G50 processor quad-core Intel Core 2 Quad Extreme QX9300, dual 500GB RAID and a DVD burner capable of read Blu-ray, the rest of the specifications remain unchanged.
The weight and autonomy of these machines, which are probably more real than the transportable notebooks, were not specified. With a 6-cell battery, the G50 is available for a retail price of $ 1 630. The G70 for its part is delivered with an 8-cell battery and were trading $ 3 260.
