Acer K10: a video projector featherweight

Acer announced the K10, a small video projector measuring only 12 centimeters side and 5 inches thick for a featherweight 550 grams, or congestion of a dozen boxes of CDs stacked. Lighting is more assured by a LED, with the many benefits that entails.

It actually combines technology DLP LED technology, which gives it a good life (20 000 announced hours and resistance to breakage improved) in addition to reduced by 30% compared to conventional bulbs. Its small size allows it to reach however a contrast of 1000 to 1 and brightness of 100 Lumens limited, what project at a distance of 2.4 meters up to a diagonal up to 152 centimeters.


It projects an image resolution SVGA (800 x 600 pixels) but accepts input on its VGA connector to SXGA (1280 x 1024 pixels) or until WXGA + (1440 x 900 pixels). It also has an analog composite RCA. Finally he introduced the feature to be powered with an AC adapter used in laptops Acer brand.

It should be available soon at a price not disclosed.

Hey, but it gets really interesting for personal use! Even more power light (100 lumens really is ridiculous) and a resolution SXGA output in the same size and I take one.
