It is powered by an Intel Core 2 Duo E7200 CPU and 1 GB of DDR2.

The cameras are connected to both a VGA input PCIe x1 equipped with 4 chips Techwell 6805. A special software, the Shuttle SecurityCenter is provided and can manage the whole. An external monitor (not included) can naturally be connected to the VGA port Intel GMA 3100 and therefore could be used like any other Mini-PC if the need arises.

Re: Shuttle unveils the D 1416S Mini PC

I think using adapters on both DB-15 connectors, you get 8 inputs composite video inputs and 16 BNC, you can use to connect up to 16 cameras. wooo
