    A new DSS: G-Monster V2 128 and 256 GB

    The manufacturer PhotoFast preparing the release of a new DSS, the G-Monster V2. Available in 128 and 256 GB, this DSS was announced with speeds of 230 Mb / s read and 160 Mb / s write. Interestingly, flows in lectures and writings say random are provided. They are of 110 Mb / s (read) and 24 Mb / s (write). It operates as an interface SATA 3Gb / s. It measures 100x69.93 × 9.3 mm and weighs 97g. Its MTBF is 2.5 million hours and supports 1500 g. It will be sold in Japan in mid-December with a one year warranty.

    At the same time, it lacked important information without which these figures do nothing: the size of random access.Because of the random blocks of 4 KB or on blocks of 4 MB you not quite the same result ...

    random access is good for BDD .but for a hard drive game it can not be nice?

    But with the reallocation of blocks that are too used, the linear access are rapidly converted into random access, right?
