I have a JVC mini DV camcorder and am unable to import video on my PC: ACER pentium duo, 3 GB of RAM, with Vista. When I plug my camcorder with the FireWire cord, WMM tells me he does not find a compatible video device.
Can someone help me?

About another software I use to make my films, but I just try WMM (Camcorder CanonMVX150i)
I made the connection, I turned on my video camera in position, he was immediately detected and I made a catch without any problem.
In my peripheral I also available my webcam, do you have one and it is detected by WMM?

The webcam is not detected by WMM but it is recognized by captureflux. I tried lair on a PC, I could import a video without problem ?

At home WMM is the webcam automatically try out to see why not at home.
My camera is automatically detected by WMM.
Remove and reinstall it if you can
