Hello
I was asked to try to correct a big problem, but I can not. The problem is this. It is a portable ACER Aspire 3000 series that runs under XP. As soon as you press the Start button, it displays the Acer logo and page access to Windows XP and then it starts as if it would open Windows, but it stops and resumes the same operation without stopping. I tried to boot in Safe Mode to do certain checks. Each time the PC displays a message saying that the file was missing user32.dll. Yet it was present in software distribution, but not in System32. I copied over and over System32 in Safe Mode and there was nothing that worked. After consulting several forums, I downloaded the software troubleshooting Ultimate Boot CD on a PC recommended Astice from another computer, I've copied to a CD that I inserted into the laptop defective. This software is supposed to start self-start, this should solve the problem, but again no positive results.
Do you have any suggestions? Here, I'm running out of ideas!
Thank you in advance
