For the first time, Steve Ballmer, CEO of Microsoft, spoke officially to the next update of the mobile operating system of the mark. While so far the mobile user's switched to version 7 of Windows Mobile is indeed the version 6.5 which should be available in the next year.
At a press conference in Australia, the boss of Microsoft has stated that it is at this time 20 million Windows Mobile terminals have been sold and that the system in its version 6.5 will be available in 2009. Windows Mobile 7, the next major version of the trademark system, should see the day for long after that, no specific date has been announced.
At the same time, Steve Ballmer still believes in both its operating system, in particular with totally or almost customized for a more intuitive navigation via Windows Mobile smartphones marketed to the local operator Telstra.
