The company Huawei Technologies announced that it will produce smart phones based operating system Android and Symbian in the first half of 2009.

The first Android and Symbian Huawei handsets which are to be released in 2009 will be distributed only by major operators and, here comes the surprise, will not wear the brand of Huawei, but instead will display the distribution company's brand. Information about the design, price or other features has not been disclosed yet so we'll just have to wait and see.

The first model will use the brand Huawei, and the spread will go through various cellular operators. Unfortunately, no information about the technical specifications and pricing for future smartphones yet.

Huawei, unlike Nokia, will not be offering content to users. “We will stand firm in the camp of the operators. Although we will customize phones, we will never directly sell services to the end user.”

The company already produces Windows Mobile smartphones, but enter into an alliance Android Open Handset Alliance and Symbian Foundation calls for the further development of Huawei.
