The Swedish-Japanese company intends to make an announcement on November 6. The announcement seems to have been confirmed; it will reveal the launch of a new Walkman slider, the W705 (aka Rika), but also a new music accessory, the MBS-900.

According to unofficial information, Slider W705 will work in networks of 2G and 3,5 G, TFT display 240h320 points, displaying 256 colors, 120 MB internal memory, Bluetooth module with A2DP, Wi-Fi, GPS . Sony Ericsson W705 will be the first device in a series of Walkman, which is 3.5 mm jack for headphones.

More features include 240x320 pixels resolution display, Wi-Fi, YouTube client, FM radio, built-in GPS receiver with A-GPS function, 3.2 Megapixel camera with auto-focus and flash, 120MB internal memory, but also a 4GB M2 memory card that will come for free in the sales package.


The phone will be available in two different colors: Passionate Red and Luxury Silver.

In the package with the Sony Ericsson W705 should be a headset Sony Ericsson HPM-77 and a memory card to 4 GB.

There is no word about the price of any of the devices soon to be announced, but they should be available starting with February 2009.
