The Director-General of Opera Software ASA Jon Stephenson won Techner (Jon Stephenson von Tetzchner) said that Opera has already finished the release of its mobile browser Opera Mini under iPhone, but it does not appear in the App Store. The fact is that Apple has refused to place it in his shop applications because of the competition with an integrated Web browser, Safari.

As you know, Opera Mini is a simplified version of the desktop browser, designed for mobile phones. Interestingly, 80% of the company's business focused on working with mobile versions of Opera for telephones and communicators.

Thus, the Opera browser joins a list of rejected Apple applications that were not taken because of "duplication of functions of the products Apple.

This isn't the first time Apple has denied applications because of conflicts with its own iPhone and Mac software. The company has also blocked an application that would have let users download podcasts, and refused an email application
, too.

Jon won Techner not mentioned whether it gets the development of independent repositories of applications for the hacked phones, as the Installer or Cydia, so that its fate remains unclear.
