    LOMO Lubitel 166+ Camera

The biggest news in years for lovers of authentic analogue photography! Light and compact with stunning new features and improvements, our loving re-creation of the Soviet-era, LOMO Lubitel, Twin Lens Reflex takes analogue photography back to the fundamentals.

The Lubitel+ takes you by the hand and makes a better photographer out of you.

    Lubitel+ New and Improved Features

We’ve retained all the well-loved classic features, (like the signature coated glass lens) and added in a swarm of improvements and innovations to set to rights those original Lubitel personality ‘quirks’. Here are the highlights:

Inbuilt 35mm film conversion mechanism – The Lubikin set

Includes a 35mm mask, film pick-up spool, 35mm film holder and 35mm counter pressure plate.
    Enables sprocket-hole look.

    Closer & Broader Focusing

The Lubitel+ lens focuses to 0.8m, while the classic Lubitel lens only focused to 1.4m. Meaning stronger, more intense portraits & close-up shots!

    Improved Milky Viewfinder

The Lubitel+’s viewfinder glass is perfectly flat glass and covers 100% of the image. The original viewfinder used curved glass, was a bit tough to see in any angle other than head-on, and only covered 80% of the image.

    Split image and microprism.

    Standard Hotshoe

Syncs any standard hotshoe flash – incl. Colorsplash flash & Diana Flash.

    Stop Focus mechanism

    Rewind your 120 rolls

With the Lubitel+, you can rewind your film BEFORE the end of the roll. This allows you to rewind to a past frame, shoot on it again, and then even trade film rolls with a mate for double or triple exposures! A rare feature!

The original Lubitel was cast in plastic and had a top down viewfinder, enclosed by a pop-up metal hood. Users composed their images by peering down and adjusting the focus knob. The new Lubitel adds the ability to use 35mm, an endless panorama option, and closer and zone focus.
