I have this Canon Powershot SD 110 quite old.
When i work on the images the camera wont recognise its format why is it so? Do I need any program to convert the image format?

Well can you provide some more details on this?
I mean what format you have for your camera pics & all?

Well i use to open the images edit them in paint & put them back in my camera & was able to view it on the cam itself!
No need to convert or like that but from some months i am facing this problem don't know why?
may be due to its age.
I open the images in windows picture viewer (XP). JPEG format

you are right it must be due to old cam!
Well can you tell us it like you have upgraded your system from 2000 or 98 to XP?
May be any changes in resolution due to new XP?
