Yamaha announced new A-S700 amplifier and CD-S700 CD player

Yamaha announced the November Japan release of a new A-S700 amplifier , and CD-S700 CD player.

The A-S700 amplifier features 90-watts x 2 of RMS power and gold-plated RCA inputs, while the CD-S700 CD player includes a Burr Brown 192kHz/24bit DAC and a USB port for playing back MP3 / WMA files.

The A-S700 amp is quiet affordable when compared to the A-S1000. It also features the Top-Art (Total Purity Audio Reproduction Technology), and aluminum front panel and knobs. The CD-S700 CD player is designed to complement the A-S700 amp.

These products will be available from mid-November in Japan market.

The pair will be available in late November in Japan at €500 (£390) for the A-S700 and €420 (£325) for the CD-S700.
