    Pioneer Introduces New HDD GPS SatNav Units - HRZ099, HRZ088, HRV022 & HRV01

Pioneer have taken the wraps off no less than four new GPS navigation systems (or SatNav’s if you prefer), in the form of the HRZ099, HRZ088, HRV022 and the HRV01, which boast 7” LCD displays and, depending on the model, integrated 40GB capacity HDDs, 1 Seg TV and multimedia playback capabilities with WMA, MP3, AAC, and DivX file formats supported whilst also offering full iPod compatibility.

At the time of writing specific unit specifications do not appear to be available, however, what is known is that the high-end unit (namely the HRZ099) sports a 800×400 resolution 7” display whilst the other three models offer somewhat less impressive 480×234 resolution screens whilst both the HRZ099 and the HRZ088 come with integrated amplifiers offering up to 50W 4-channel output.

No word as of yet as to whether these units will see a release outside of Japan at this stage.
