    Laptop problem occured after restart

    I have the compaq presario 2100 notebook.
    While uninstalling some programs & restart the screen is stuck on the red compaq logo with options for changing settings or booting from LAN?
    Need help what to do?

    Well i think you need to check system from BIOS!

    well one more thing the hard drive light is off!
