While the DP1 is in itself available only for a short time, Photokina 2008 that Sigma has announced the DP2, its new compact camera with an APS-C sensor. From a technical point of view, the DP2 comes in more or less characteristics of the DP1 with Foveon X3 sensor 14 megapixels but now no longer a wide angle 28mm to 41mm but an opening of F2.8 against F4 before and the new True II processor.

The 2.8 is a good thing but the reduction of the angle is a pity I find ...
