Philips mobile phones are known for coming with really powerful batteries, and the new Philips Xenium X500 is no exception.

This baby has a 1720 mAh battery that’s supposed to provide a talk-time of up to 16 hours or a stand-by time of no less than two months. Also, the battery should last up to 40 hours in music playback mode, so if you ever have a 2-day insomnia, the phone can surely keep you entertained (assuming you’re listening to “happy music” on it).

Guess the long lasting battery is also due to the fact that you won't find too many snazzy features on the Xenium X500 as detailed below :-
