NEC have released details of their new 24" monitor this week. The 24WMGX3 offers a 1920 x 1200 resolution, 6ms G2G response time, 1000:1 contrast ratio, 500 cd/m2 brightness and 176/176 viewing angles.


A third gen model in the GX Series, the widescreen LCD offers a 24-inch wide display complete with a picture-in-picture display mode.

The NEC MultiSync 24WMGX3 offers connectivity such as VGA, DVI-D with HDCP, two HMDI interfaces, as well as S-video, component and composite video connectors.

Looks-wise, the monitor boasts a narrow bezel, in black piano lacquer, has integrated 5+5 Watt speakers and a headphone socket.

The AMVA panel offers a resolution of 1920 x 1200 at 60 Hz, dynamic contrast ratio of 2000:1, brightness of 500 cd/m2, 6ms response time and viewing angles of up to 178 degrees.

Complete with an infra-red remote control, the monitor is available in black, for £565 plus VAT.
