| Sandisk launches 32GB SanDisk Extreme III CompactFlash
 SanDisk's 30MB/s Extreme III line of flash cards keeps growing -- the company just announced the 32MB Extreme III CompactFlash card for $299. If you save ordinary .jpg files, you can probably find a CF card that is cheaper for the same capacity. Besides photography, HD digital video recording might be another application that benefits from the extra capacity and speed, depending on the quality. The 32GB SanDisk Extreme III CompactFlash will be available in October for $300 (MSRP)  |

Pretty steep, but if you're shooting high-speed RAW images or filming a masterpiece with a RED ONE, we bet your ears just perked up.
