Carl Zeiss will launche the new Cinemizer Plus video eyewear that works with iPhone and iPod. As an upgrade to the original Cinemizer, this Plus version is the first video eyewear to get the “Works with iPhone” badge from Apple. The Cinemizer Plus offers a virtual 45-inch screen as viewed from 6 feet away.

It is an updated and improved version of the original Cinemizer video eyewear. The Cinemizer plus uses the same high quality optics as the original, plus it now incorporates improved comfort and usability features. The Cinemizer combines LCD screens with individual diopter focus adjustment (-3.5 to +3.5D).. The resulting image appears as virtual 45-inch screen, as viewed from six feet away. The Cinemizer plus adds the ability to override the built in headphones.

I read somewhere about this product and i really liked it very much. Both the original and plus versions of the Cinemizer feature a 3D mode that enables stereoscopic viewing of 3D content. Content that is produced in side-by-side 3D format can be displayed from any video source, then the views are split for left and right screens. The resulting experience is a rich and immersive 3D image.
