Two new high-definition camcorders from Canon

The new collection autumn 2008 Canon includes two high-definition camcorders, HG20 and HG21. Both models are equipped with a hard disk with a capacity of respectively 60 and 120 GB and a location for SD memory card or SDHC. They have the particularity to propose a new recording MXP which ensures a flow of up to 24 Mbps, the speed most elevated of AVC HD format used here. The CMOS 3.3 million pixels, which can record a Full HD, is coupled to a Canon HD with 12x optical zoom and DIGIC DV II processor which, as its name not indicated, is optimized for high definition.

Another point to emphasize, these camcorders can be associated with an optional battery long-term and low consumption, possibly coupled with the use of electronic viewfinder HG21 instead tilted LCD screen, provides a long-term record ( up to 5 hours after Canon). The Easy mode for beginners is also the party while most perceptive filmmakers will be able to turn to 25p (progressive record in opposition to registration and interlaced at a rate approaching that of film). They will also have the possibility to extend the functionality of their camcorder, thanks to the shoe-accessories that are increasingly rare, which may welcome here a microphone or a torch light, while additional optics are also available .
