Streaming Networks announced iRecord Pro, a device that allows users to record audio and video directly to the iPhone, Touch iPod, iPod Nano and iPod Cassic unused computer.
iRecord Pro uses standard connectors for audio and video (AV) to connect any TV, set-top-box (STP), digital video recorder, video camera, VCR, DVD, LP and cassette player. When connected, records the content directly into the device.
iRecord Pro supports D1 resolution (720 x 480) video encoding and can also encode MPEG2 content to H.254. It also supports WAV format.
iRecord pro now supports full D1, H264 video encoding. Timed recording, live streaming, lossless audio compression, transcoding of existing digital contents to portable media player formats and direct recording to Mac or Windows PC hard disks.
