Nokia Introduces 6260 slide - made for high speed sharing

What were they thinking? The only reasonable explanation i can think of for this phone not having Symbian is that it would mess with the sales of other Nokia phones. I don't think any dumbphone is worth

I don't understand the point of slider number pad. It's better to make the screen touchscreen and then have a slider keyboard (with all the letters as individual buttons .. the buttons won't be too small that it's unusable). I've seen a phone like that somewhere but I don't recall who makes it.
