Who will purchase Apple 3G iphone ?

Friends i read that vodaphone and airtel is going to sale apple 3g iphone in India at Rs.31,000 (8Gb) and 36,100 (16Gb). Now i am having One question that Who will purchase this Apple 3G iphone at Rs 31,000 (8GB)?
In India 3G iphone will support many feature because in India no 3G Network
that means it's (2G) iphone for indian people. Also check 3G iphone drawback still you are intresting in purchase 3G iphone. Vodaphone and Airtel Selling 2G iphone to Indian people at (8GB) 31,000 ($709) which is more than 3G iphone $199 (Rs.8,714).

Apple service center also not in India. If there is any problem in 3G iphone then Vodafone Or Airtel will repair / solve the problem ?
