HP unveils its new EliteBook 2530p and EliteBook 2730p

Last week, we had presented the new line of laptops professionals Dell. It is the turn of Hewlett-Packard to enter the dance with EliteBook 2530p and 2730p.

The first has a 12-inch screen (1280 x 800) and weighs only 1.4 kg. The EliteBook 2530p loads an Intel Centrino 2 to ultra low power consumption and can accommodate up to 8 GB of DDR2 memory. On the graphics chip Mobile Intel GMA X4500 HD it is possible to divide up 384Mb memory. Several options are available, drives: 80 or 120GB (1.8-inch SATA), 120 GB (2.5 inches, 5400 r / m), 160GB (2.5-inch 7200tr / m) or a disc DSS 80GB. In addition to encryption tools, this includes a portable reader software cards, which coupled with a 2-megapixel webcam.

HP EliteBook 2530p

The EliteBook 2730p presents roughly the same characteristics, but this model is equipped with a touch screen that pivots to turn the machine on Tablet PC. According to the HP EliteBook 2530P and 2730p will be available in the USA during the month of September and will be offered for $1499 & $ 1,670 respectively.

I agree that the design is not that pro in todays world , but it looks good for nothing ... It seems of the late 90's.
