Hello!
From past few days, the screen of my laptop goes black or blue clear and I can not see anything. I tried to fix it by running Win XP repair but I get the feel that this error is due to some hardware not working properly that I would not be able to do?

Check if you have activated somehow suspension or energy-saving "Energy Options" control panel or checks if you the same thing happens when you work connected to the power supply cable.

Try to upgrade their drivers and check if it happen when the laptop is switched on and in many hours it becomes too hot. In both laptops because of energy savings for Overheating often shut down to avoid greater evils.

It seems to be backlight problem. Take a look over here for the solution.
