Drupal 6 VS Drupal 7

I want to begin with a new project and jammed without idea what version to use. Just wanted to know the best of both of these. First i was thinking to go with Drupal or 6, but came to know that Drupal 5 is no more available hence, almost finalized to go with Drupal 6 but still what if Drupal 7 is with more and great features. So, just want some suggestion about the better one, that is Drupal 6 or 7?

No matter as a developer or themer opinion , I like Drupal 7 since its release because there are some very important and key improvements like Core support of adaptable Fields without localization hell like in the earlier versions . You might be aware that it is much helpful for both to module and theme developers. In addition, it is able to have vocabularies with fields and to offer nodes list page access to its users without having to give full node edition rights . You might bring to mind that Drupal 6 is a kid in top-college and Drupal 7 is that child who has graduated and is now in a position for the actual world.

if your website is still in Drupal 5, you should urgently migrate it to Drupal 6 or Drupal 7. Better is go with Drupal 7. Apart from this, 3 more lines:

• Current is 7, supported by the Drupal community to 9
• Previous version, Drupal 6 will be supported until a future release of Drupal 8
• Drupal 5 is no longer supported since January 5.
