Drupal 5 VS Drupal 6

Content Management Systems, that is also known as CMS is generally the next step in creating a website. The list of sites powered by Drupal continues to grow and spread of blogs, media sites or community sites. Now, as am too planning to create a website, am confused which CMS to choose. If it is Drupal, than Drupal 5 or Drupal 6? Is there anyone to help me out for this ?

I don’t think you can go with Drupal 5 as it is no more available. Its now time for the latest version of Drupal that is Drupla 7. As it was release few months ago, continuation for Drupal 5 has been stopped, and only Drupal 7 and Drupal 6 are being actively maintained. So, if you have choices just for Drupal 5 and 6, than go with Drupal 6.

Even Drupal 6 is also very old, if am not wrong than I think it was released in 2008. Anyways, the version is nice and easy for any newbie like me or you with many improvements with some visible from the first click, and some concealed under the hood. I’ll suggest you to go with Drupal 6. Its installer will get your web project up and running in minutes. You will have enough time to have the fresh and sensitive drag-and-drop interface.
