The Standby and Idle values are placed in the top and the load values in the narrow rear midfield. The power supply also has no problems with the 500 watt load and more, the equipment during the test. It has can be brought in any way from the rest. The name Silent is not too high, it starts softly and holds a very long time until then at 40 ° C to listen to slow. The Zalman ZM500-HP power supply offers a strong power supply up to 500W. With the cable management, removable internal cables connected, it reduces clutter in the PC system and improved by the reduction to the wires of the ventilation system. The efficiency of up to 84% and active PFC generates less heat loss, which means less cooling requirements and lower energy bills.

What makes the Zalman ZM500-HP power supply is cooled via an internal heat pipe. The heat is conducted from the voltage transformers by means of the heat pipe to a large radiator fins, which is located directly in the airflow behind the grille. This allows the power supply with a lower amount of air can be cooled efficiently.

For use with SLI-Systems the Zalman power supply with two PCI Express ports is provided. Four independent 12V rails provide processors, graphics cards, mainboards and other system components are independent from each other to achieve maximum stability.

The plug of the power supply are equipped with an EZ-Grip connectors, which has a slight disconnect the cable from the device allows. For ease of handling all the cables are bundled with a net, so as to produce clean cable strands.
