Recently Google has launched it new we communication program termed as Google Wave. The Google wave is considered to be dual purpose program used for both documentation and interaction simultaneously. Also Mozilla introduced its new program termed Raindrop. This is served as a filtering for the inbox in an intelligent manner. This is designed by the same team that designed the Mozilla Thunderbird.

For me the Google Wave is a combination for documenting and having a conversation together. It is basically an internet communication medium. The Google wave can be altered at any point which lets its users to create a collaborative documentation. It thus servers the users with a social networking site that also hosts instant messaging and e-mails.

Raindrop is a program developed by Mozilla. The Raindrop program works with the help of a mini web server to collect the users interactions and conversations from a number of sources such as mails, RSS feeds, twitter, etc. It then highlights the important persons whom you would probably have a more often conversation.

The Wiki functionality is really a very helpful feature of Google Wave the reason being it is open for all to edit it any any time. The conversation within Google Wave are all Shared. Also the the user can see what others are typing character by character as one would see in chatting with a messenger. All using the playback functionality, one can easily refer to what was initially mentioned in the wave.
