problem with overclocking fx-8350 on Gigabyte 990FXA-UD3

I am facing some problem when I am overclocking fx 8350 on a Gigabyte 990FXA-UD3 motherboard. I dont have ample of knowledge about overclocking settings in the BIOS and all. I have just throttled my system a bit and after that the voltage has considerably dropped. Now I dont know what else to do, so can anyone please help me out? TIA

Can you try to update the BIOS of the motherboard and after that also set LLC to the most highest setting. Also remember not to use offset vcore, just set "voltage switch" at highest setting that goes for phase control also. You will need to check to see incase the application power management is running behind, then disable it.

After you get into the BIOS there might be a Advance Voltage settings. So, when you are in it then you can try to use the up/down keys to choose the voltage that you want to set or change. After that when you are on the + and - button, you can change what you want at that time. If you had faster RAM then that could have help also and there are many people that are at 5ghz using 1866mhz ram or faster ones.

Can you tell us whether the voltage and the frequency jumps back and forth all the time or is it hust dropping completely? If you CPU is at load then you can expect that conditions. Even I was facing a similar kind of problem at idle but it got solved away when I did some Torture Test.
