speed up AMD C-60 APU

I have got a Asus laptop that comes with AMD C-60 APU. The problem with this processor is that I think it is kind of very slow. So, does anyone out there knows if this processor can be overclocked. I simply want to raise its clock speed so that I can get some improvement from this apu? Thanks for any help in advance

I dont think that you will get any improvement if you overclock your AMD C-60 APU system. Check to see if there is another clock controller in your laptop which is used for overclocking, if its not there then it might be locked and you cant do anything. You can try to use some tools like CPUz that will let you know about how much you have raised the clocks.

With the AMD C-60 APU, you can expect it to run at 1.33ghz. For raising to this clock speed, you will have to get some drivers other than the standard drivers that will allow you only a raise of 800mhz to 1000mhz speed. You can try to use some brazos tweaks that will be help you to achieve that the clock speed mentioned.

There will be a TurboCore Technology in the BIOS that will be able to raise the clock speed upto 1.3ghz in your laptop. Once you use this then the overclocking will be done automatically where it will boost the clock speed when they notice both the cores are fully loaded and then the processors are pushed to their limits.
