Overclocking software for Intel Desktop Board DG41RQ

Hello friends, I want to ask that if there is some method or some software to overclock the overclock Intel DG41RQ motherboard. I have seen all the options in the BIOS but there is no option for this. Please suggest me if there is any third party software for this.

You can make use of the setfsb as this is the best one for OC. I don’t know whether any other alternative for this is available or not but I c an very sure about this one that it will be helpful for you.

Yes, setfsb is the best to use for this.
    • From this page, get the code that corresponds to your motherboard and download SetFSB.
    • Check the box and then click on get Ultra fsb.

Turn up the 4 to 5 units at a time up to increase the value to 15 or 20, and then alternatively provide 5 units to 4 then 3. If the computer crashes during the process then it indicates that you are having loose configuration. Finally, to control the percentage of clock and mhz achieved used CrystalCPUID.

It is good to overclock but you must take care of the system temperature. I mean with the overclocking, system get overheated and that meay lead to some hardware failure. So it will be better for you to install a good cooling system before doing this.

If you are looking for some alternative for setfsb then ThrottleStop is the best option for you. ThrottleStop is a free tool that makes the performance better with the Intel Core 2. I have adjusting the power regulation imposed by the manufacturer. In other words, ThrottleStop adjusts processor power to be the best at all times but some of the times it vary.

    Pros
    • Boost the performance of Core 2
    • Four default profiles
    • Temperature and velocity
    • Performance test (TS Bench)

    Cons
    • It can damage the processor if used without proper precautions
