VMware ESXi 5 does not work with AMD FX-8120 Bulldozer CPU

It seems to me that these two things don’t get along. My system is now with latest AMD processor and that is AMD FX-8120 Bulldozer. I have installed a latest version of VMware ESXi. When I try to boot a VM, the hypervisor itself will load but vsphere agent crashes. While crashing it shows me an error about the CPU microcode not existing and so on. I assume that this issue has something to do with the motherboard / bios. My motherboard is asus 990fx sabertooth.

My issue has been resolved during the next installation. My issue was during the first installation the microcode wasn't installed for the FX processor because I didn’t put the FX when it was installed. Still it was on older processor.

Here is my new system build
    • Antec Three Hundred Illusion
    • OCZ ZT Series 650W
    • Gigabyte GA-970A-UD3
    • AMD FZ-8120 Zambezi 3.1GHz AM3+ Eight Core
    • CORSAIR Vengence 2x8GB DDR3 1600
    • Sapphire Radeon HD 5450 1GB
    • Asus DRW-24B1ST/BLK/B/AS

Right now the system is installed with ESXi 5.0 and running it clearly. Luckily Realtek NIC was supported by ESXi. There were no issues at all. If your motherboards shipped with BIOS F3 or later, then it will only support AM3+ processors. I had it with F4. I changed the BIOS setting to make a proper order.
