Unable to overclock Intel Core i7-3930K on MSI X79A-GD65(8d)

well I am having Intel Core i7-3930K on MSI X79A-GD65(8d) motherboard. Whenever I am trying to overclock the CPU the system of mine is getting freezed. stock 6-core turbo boost is supposed to be of 3.5GHz. even I try to change to 3.6GHz then also system of mine is getting freezes. There is no change in the situation on the amount of the voltage which I have set. Well below mentioned are the system specification.
    Tuniq Ripper 1000W
    G. Skill Ripjaws Z series DDR3 1600 4x4GB
    MSI GTX 580 Lightning
    Corsair H80
2x Corsair Force GT 120 ssd (RAID 0)
Let me know if you are having any speculation to resolve the issue of mine. Thanks a lot in advance.

After going through problem of yours I am suggesting that you should try to overclock your system once your computer is warmed up that means you should not overclock when your computer is cold boot.

Tell me whether 91c temperature is changing if you have put any load on CPU. What is the health status on PC health section from the BIOS menus? On the basis of that I can tell you whether the above mentioned problem is associated with the CPU or motherboard itself.

In the situation of mine I figured out that the issue was associated with CPU itself. MY H80 is having a 3 pin which is connecting with jcpu fan 4pin. It helps you to monitor the pump seep that means power arriving from molex. In case you had disconnected then you will not be able to make thing working for you where it supposed to set 1.2GHz when I made an attempt to overclock the CPU.

Well looking at the matter I think you will need to install latest version of BIOS on your motherboard. You can get the same from the official website.

I am suspecting that there is bug issue which cannot be resolved on the public forum.
cpu multiplier oc bug which supposed to occur if you have changed the cpu ratio to the default. It mostly get happens when it is the cold temperatures. The thing sensitivity differs CPU to CPU. If you are using bclk only and keeping cpu multiplier to default then see whether you are able to get the bug or not. Also I recommend that you should contact the technical support and ask about further help.
