What is the overclocking capability of Intel i7 950?

Guys I just bought an intel i7 960. I don’t have any information regarding overclocking information of this process. I can’t any overclocking information regarding the 960 itself. Many people have suggested me to go with the 920 and push the speed to 3.2 and save some cash. I can’t get what to do?Did I just give 300$ for a processor with more power speed but no potential

I am currently using the intel 920 and after I have done the overclocking the speed was 4 GHz which was great. It is like double fast then the early one. I was thinking of upgrading to the 930 but to progress from a OC stable 4.0 to 4.3O.C isn’t worth it. Well I think that you can try with the Intel 930 it will be nice. As these will be cheap to you because it will cost 10$ more then 950. You will have the potential for the speed of stable 4.o GHz

I don’t think the same as LGA 1366 are binned to each other so closely. All together you will find not much different between the two processore after the overlocking. The only thing that you buy these instead of the 920 and 930 is that if you are trying for the benching with the phase change or the liquid nitrogen cooling. That is the main reason of its cost so high. These are only thing otherwise I would like to suggest you to save your money and invest I some other things like on SSD, better graphics card etc.
