Intel Q6600 Overclocking not working on Asus P5G41-M LX3

I used intel core 2 quad q6600 processor on my Asus P5G41-M LX3 motherboard. Last week i did overclocking on it. It works well but the performance is being not comes as per the expectations. i want to get 3.8GHz on air with the Q6600 but it runs at 3.2GHz. I htink this processor not able to just did this overclocking task on motherboard. I used windows 7 64bit on my system. i already did Changed the Ratio CMOS off "Auto" to 9, Core Frequency from 266 to 333 and VCore from Default to +150mV. But all are just waste of time. I need additional information about this issue. Can anyone gives more details about it?? Thanks for any such help.

Effective DRAM frequency at FSB of 333MHz might be helpful for you to improve the performance of the CPU after finishing overclocking. Hence i suggest for simply try it. DRAM is being helpful in that conditions. You can use the CPU-Z software for getting such DRAM frequency informations. Its really well for getting the correct result on your motherboard.

This DRAM frequency is being mostly depends upon the DDR-RAM. If you used DDR-1333+ RAM, then you can capable to run the DRAM frequency at FSB of 340MHz. otherwise it gives problem foir you. Hence if possible then simply try to change this DRAM frequency as per the capacity of the RAM that you used on your motherboard.

I would be recommend for just Download Latest BIOS Version 0603 on your Asus P5G41-M LX3. Official board site discuss that this bios version makes an effect remark on the board and in result you can be find the attractive result on your motherboard. Hence use official link of BIOS Version 0603 and flash your motherboard BIOS. It definitely show you the best result.
