Overclocking and Benchmarking results of AMD FX-8120

MY AMD FX-8120 got delivered today along with a new motherboard as well as water cooling setup. I have positive experience with Bulldozer. The good thing is that while running Prime95 the multiplier changes automatically on it. I have started this thread to know more about overclocking it. I want to see it how further we can push this processor and how much load it can hold. So fat my achievement is only 4GHz.

AMD FX-8120 that reached a frequency of one very good end 8Gb overclocked. The FX-8120 has 8 cores and stock 3.1Ghz (Turbo Core 3.4/4.1) and since this chip is similar to the 8150 overclocking to 8GHz PcCI2minal came under LN2 (liquid nitrogen). The record stands at 8039.63 MHz just reaching the tip between models with similar features and entering the "club of the 8 GHz" and dominated by AMD Bulldozer, which also seems able to do DDR3.

Beware that it is a 32nm, so for a dayuse go beyond 1.36v is harmful. Having said that regardless of how you can squeeze the bulldozers as always depends on the cpu and mobo, so I would recommend you set the cpu voltage to 1.36v and see where it comes

The final quality of the processors may thus differ from this result. For the record attempt team ran the AMD FX CPU with only two of the eight available cores. Used to cool the liquid helium overclocker and liquid nitrogen. A cold-this bug could not be determined as specified the overclockers.
