Prime 95 passes 8 hours after Overclocking at priority 10 but fails 1min of LinX

I would consider a stable overclock on my X6 1100T (3300 MHz stock, the specifications in the sig). I have the CPU overclocked to 3800 MHz@1.40vcore and spend 8 hours of Prime95 at priority 10 (priority worse). I leave it overnight and you do not touch and no programs are running. I used the small and Blended FFT tested and passed by both 8 hours. NO I have the CPU / NB overclocked, just the CPU. However, a minute or OCCT Linx and restart the computer. At speeds of values passed OCCT LinX or good, but once you overclock, but it is a miserable MHz 3500 (200 MHz increase), it restarts. I tried pushing the vcore up to 1,525 and gradually restarted yet.

I do not like P95 for the test. I use Intel burn test and the volatility is much quicker. This seems much better this game to be used for stability testing, as it introduces more heat into the case and make things crash that would or else be steady with no running the GPU. In all the years I have found 4-5 hours of play directly grave is the best proof for the stability of OC. So these programs are good, but many do not tax the entire system.

It can be many things, including the NB voltage, and perhaps try a different version of OCCT. If I remember correctly, P95 needs a little more voltage to run than OCCT, sometimes OCCT act that way because some slight excess of P95 necessary voltage to be stable. In my test Intel Burn test is not reliable enough and I agree that the game seems to be a decent stress test. However, I was first trying a different version of OCCT before playing with the tension more.

    Its specifications are 12V1 @ ps 18A, +12 V2 @ 18A, +12 V3 @ 18A with a 125W Phenom OC} {II X6. I know a lot of energy 5870 in another line, but still pull power from the MB. I ran a {} 95watt 2500K with the same specifications ps @ 12V1 17A, +12 V2 @ 17A nothing more than 4200MHz with LinX I restarted.

On the main board, we see only two points where leads are soldered below 12V. 12V1 and 12V2 tag another tag. For fun, I put a load of 30 A in 8-pin EPS +12 V. This should have activated the PSU. No, what I said there was no limit set for this railway OCP. I did the same with the main ATX connector and again the power supply does not trip any OCP (over current protection) on the rails. Apart from a few traces zig zagging across PCB, I could not find 12V1 and 12V2 how even they are apart, but I'll give Seasonic (the OEM for the Corsair units) the benefit of the doubt and say that we seem to have two 12V rails here, or any kind of "edge" on them. I'm more inclined to think the circuitry of the CPU in my old mobo + AM simply cannot handle the stress of an overclocked 1100T (three revisions, which are supposed to provide better support overclocking. I have the original Version 1.0!). Furthermore, the test hammer-like OCCT and Linx (basically the same style of proof) may also be too much for the circuits of the CPU on my motherboard. Would not it be logical?

Corsair had troubles and set it up as a single 12v which is ordinary. On my i7x58 at 4200 I can run 7 threads of LinX no troubles. When I tried 8 threads on LinX instant, it restarts following a minute. Because no game etc will always pull 100% on 8 threads I left it. My inexpensive 12 phase MB is disappointing but has never restarted in normal use. In all my years of gaming I have hardly ever taxed a CPU more than two cores (or even two threads going back to the days of P4) near 100% for the entirety of my multi-hour gaming sessions. Even now my most CPU intensive games will hardly push my quad core CPUs beyond 60% usage.
