    Overclocking TW3X4G1600C9D and 1.8 volt

I am having the some problem. My dealer has recommended me to my new memory system as follows: Corsair Dominator TW3X4G1600C9D G DHX (2x2GB sticks).
    1. But this would need to run this statement on 1600 mhz, but they come only at 1066 mhz, when I loaded the default bios.
    2. Unbolt the volt is 1.8. If I manually in the bios to 1.65 volt pure write the number of stained purple as a warning and even at 1.8 volts it is red.

My dealer has recommended therefore the wrong rams? Have heard that the i5 no longer tolerate such dram 1.65. I am using the Asus Bios P7P55D 1102 motherboard. Please help me as soon as possible, because I had to save time on this system.

Will not be hasty but really it is the wrong ram as the core 7 for Example max may have 1.66 volt at the RAM. ?! So if you have a ram who needs volt 1.8, you will not make the full speed. ie you can see for example the ram FSB 1600 max then you will generally create only 1333 instead of the 1600 mhz. In an an i7 system will also clearly based on 1366 with 1.8 volts, the scars but close to the limit, 1.65 volts is Intel's validated value, we must remember here, but the manufacturer has tested the higher, until 1.84 volts, there is no danger of failure, but is it really limits. I would recommend buying this but not a client of a new Ram, but customers who already have the Ram, for example, runs at 1.8 volts, then you can safely continue to use the ... But those who bought new Ram should have used a coordinated kit.

When the System i5 1156 the use of such storage is critical and problematic. The LGA1156 is a conventional mainstream chipset, and even on very expensive motherboards, it is not easy for a lot or very fast memory to use. You need to P55 definitely improved memory and no memory of the standard for older 775 systems is expected. I think the dealer has overlooked this, or has not informed enough, this should not happen, but unfortunately occurs. CMD4GX3M2A1600C8 have for instance a core i5-class storage.

Alternatively, replace simply because of incompatibility, etc. In any case, it should go to your description of the sequence, it is clearly a fault of the dealer - nothing bad, and says even the incompetent from the dealer is - containing an error was - we all make time Error ... But the dealer alone should make moral and image reasons, the exchange of good grace. If in doubt, give dealer the link to the thread here, he may say, we confirm that it is generally unsuitable for i5 sets no matter who is the RAM manufacturer- should not exceed 1.65 or 1.66 of Ram V

Re: Overclocking TW3X4G1600C9D and 1.8 volt

The last entry is almost a year ago ... but would not open a new thread on this subject because I almost have the same question. NForce 790i Series have a motherboard with an Intel Core 2 Quad Q9650, where I run two TW3X4G1600C9D Corsair at the first boot up the computer's BIOS set the memory at 1333Mhz ... 1.5 V, while standing on the bars 1.8V. Manual to set it to 1.8V and the timings were at 9-9-9-24 1600Mhz. But unfortunately I get to always play a blue screen ... if I reset to default everything runs perfectly. How can I be the latches can not fully utilized? Sorry for the many questions at once.!! If I set the voltage to 1.8 V, the number turns red.
