    1600 Mhz Versus 2000Mhz

I am going to put 12GB of RAM in my latest build and was speculating type I should obtain. I am going to be utilizing the Asus Rampage 3 Extreme with the Intel 980x. So for this I was coming across at a setup of 3x4GB. 1 Corsair Dominator ddr3 1600 (pc3 12800) for 18450 rs or G.skill Trident ddr3 2000 (pc3 16000) for 19250 rs. So I am going to overclock this make so would it be value expenses the added money and receiving the faster speed? Or just overclock the lower speed?

If I was there in place of you then I will definitely go for the faster speeds but it is my personal decision. Better to contain and not require than to want and not contain. Also, I would obtain a 6 GB kit they are confident to overclock in a easier way. If you are completely deceased set on 12 GB gets two 6 GB kits, that way you are able to take away one for benching and if a attach ever expires you simply down one kit during RMA. If I am running 8gb in my major rig totally pointless for normal stuff.

In point of me 6GB is too much of a good thing for the majority of scenarios IMNSHO. So I would agree on this that a single 6GB kit will be more than sufficient and save you TONS of money and will over clock in a better way. And if you are in reality be acquainted with the fact that you require 12GB, then that is a unlike story. So here I think you got my point. So I think this much of information will going to help you.

Here I am new to the world of overclocking, so please somebody accurate my logic if it is required, but the way I went was to use my money on faster in place of more ram. If you take my opinion here in between these choices which are given here then of course I will go for the gskill 2200 MHz 2 x 2 GB. Yes I merely include 4 GB, but I figure I am able to for all time add one more 4 GB if it is required. So far it is running approximately 2000 MHz through my limited overclocking I have done so far. By the way , I do cad intend for a living, so that it is what to built to handle although it is my home pc and I am not using this for my work part. But even though I want to make it super fast for home design projects to utilize my imperfect extra time more efficiently.

I think you have the triple channel ram and purchased 2x2GB sticks? So in this I think you require 3x2GB man. I talked about this in another thread. And DDR3 1600 CAS7 will be presently in good health. I would not accept as true, even in CAD material, that it would build that much of dissimilarity. So here I want to say only this much related to your point and I think from this you will get some idea that how to fix your query.

It appears sarcastic to listen the hear speed is overrated on an overclocking issue. But regarding this I will assume that I just do not recognize why quicker ram does not create the system work more rapidly in ram demanding situations. Or else, utilizing the 2 sticks of Ram, does that misplace me no matter which but more than just the number of MB of ram on the 3rd stick? So here I want to know that does it muddle up with the performance
