How to run a Dell 2209WA at 75Hz

I am little disappointed, I have Dell 2209WA. I was convinced to put the price for this screen telling me it was very good. Screen on and bang a red pixel in the middle of the screen. I do not know if it 's worth asking the exchange. If not , is it free removal of the screen? I want to run a Dell 2209WA at 75Hz. Any idea. Please help.

I just wanted to say that putting a more elevated consequence not do anything to your screen but you will see nothing because that accepts no more than 60 hertz. The higher the hertz is elevated over the image and dragged not be clean . I own a Samsung 913BM 19 "and advocated the manufacturer of 75Hz . 60hz in my house image stabilizes Up quickly and AC flickers when I switch from one resolution to another.

It is good for you provided does not your screen you will in the device manager does for sure that the driver of your Desktop is installed and not a generic driver from windows. Then you go to the advanced property of the display - > Desktop tab and you tick the box " Hide modes that this monitor can display. You apply the thing. Then in the same tab you screen unfolds combo " update frequency of the monitor "and if the mode is 75Hz I think you do so without worries. It is not confuse the manufacturer recommended specifications and technical specifications of your screen. All the screens are not the same.

In general , whatever the resolution, it takes at minimum 70 Hz to avoid seeing flickering . If you can save more because your screen and your card supports it , put more . But the difference is very visible. If your monitor is a 17 ", your resolution must be 1280 * 1024 , you will see much better and your messages in games, sank clearer and I agree with you put your frequency 75 Hz.

In the display properties of your screen, check the box Hide resolutions that this monitor can display . Then you select the highest frequency . Regarding the resolution of the screen to a size of 17 inches , the recommended resolution is 1024x768. The maximum resolution of 17 " is 1280 * 1024 like a 15 " is 1204 * 768. For the 19 " I believe we must also put 1280 * 1024 because the games do not go beyond .

Regarding the refresh rate . Note that the minimum limit is 75Hz. For underneath the visual system sees "flashes " of light that tire the visual system. But what people do not realize is that in most cases it is unnecessary to push the frequency beyond . For the more we push the frequency , more pitch is destroyed . Sometimes people are indisposed up to 85Hz .
But when I see people who have the monitor at 120Hz , thinking how well everything .... with the text blur .
