I start my first steps in overclocking i7 . I think I understood the concept. My config is as follows :

G. Skill PC3- 10666 CL9
Gainward GTX 275 GS
Cooler Master Real Power m850watt
I get to reach 3ghz with a vcore of 1.1v in the bios and everything is stable . I then increase the vcore to 1.15, block port PCI Express on the 100mhz vram to 1.5 and reduce the multiplier to 8 ram . I could go to 3.2GHz without any problem , the pc was stable after a test of Prime95 . The only problem I noticed is that gta 4 train when I run for example , or when I'm driving .
